About this file
This document contains salient characteristics and minimum requirements for a Portable High-Pressure Plural-Component Proportioning System in a federal contract solicitation.
The equipment must be new and portable, electric-powered, and capable of spraying polyurea, polyurethane, protective coatings, waterproofing materials, and similar two-component products. Key performance specifications include a fixed volumetric mix ratio of 1:1, material output of at least 1.0 gallon per minute, and maximum working pressure of not less than 2,200 psi. The system must feature a heated proportioning capability with integrated heating capacity of not less than 3 kW, maintaining material temperatures of at least 170°F with digital or electronic temperature controls for independent monitoring and adjustment. The equipment shall operate from commercially available electric power without requiring a dedicated generator and be configured with a wheeled or mobile design suitable for transport by one or two operators. The system must include recirculation capability to bring materials to operating temperature, a heated hose package with a minimum length of 35 feet rated for the system's operating pressure and temperature range, and be designed for field maintenance with replaceable wear components and serviceable fluid sections. The equipment is intended for commercial and industrial coating applications including waterproofing, secondary containment, protective coatings, and truck bedliners. The manufacturer must provide warranty support, technical support, and replacement parts availability within the United States.
