About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama for local telecommunications services. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside, restricting eligibility to certified small business vendors only. The RFQ was issued on July 30, 2026, with quotes due by August 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CDT. The requirement encompasses a base period of twelve months (September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2027) plus four optional one-year extension periods through September 29, 2031, with all services to be delivered on an FOB Destination basis to Maxwell AFB.
Award will be made on a competitive firm-fixed-price basis to the lowest-priced quoter that meets minimum requirements, with price reasonableness determined in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.204(a). All responses must be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Katrice Barganier, and the Contracting Officer, Jeremy Kersey, at the provided contact information. Prospective quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and must demonstrate sufficient capability through detailed quotes that clearly show their ability to complete all required local telephone services as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. The government anticipates adequate price competition and will rate quotes as either Acceptable or Unacceptable based on whether they clearly meet minimum service requirements.
