About this file
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the FBI to gather market research on procurement of a Gulfstream G550, G650ER, G700 or equivalent long-range business jet for operational airlift and executive travel missions. The RFI seeks detailed information from qualified vendors regarding aircraft purchase or lease-to-own options, specifically requesting responses on cost information, lease-to-own terms, included services, and aircraft availability. Vendors must provide comprehensive details including estimated total costs, lease payment structures, maintenance provisions, crew training, insurance options, and expected delivery timelines.
The document outlines specific salient characteristics for the aircraft, including a required minimum 7000nm demonstrated range, ability to depart from a 6200-foot airfield, redundant communications systems, cruise speed of .83 mach or higher, and specific cabin configuration requirements. Maintenance considerations are extensive, with preferences for newer aircraft, lower flight times/cycles, and complete maintenance documentation. Responses must be submitted in PDF format by 29 APR 2025 to mgolicz@fbi.gov, not exceeding 10 pages. The RFI is clear that this is purely for information gathering and does not constitute a formal solicitation or procurement commitment.
