About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center regarding the anticipated procurement of 21 brand-name Teleflex Lionel-Dupont (TLD) LCU-050-USAF Polyalphaolefin (PAO) liquid cooling carts. Responses are due by Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 4:00 PM MDT. The Government explicitly states this RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract; respondents will not incur Government liability for response costs.
The TLD LCU-050-USAF PAO carts are self-contained, trailer-mounted liquid cooling units designed to support ground maintenance operations for F-22 aircraft by cooling power-dense aircraft electronics. The units feature a Cummins 4.5-liter diesel engine with Tier 3 Genset, capable of removing up to 50 kilowatts of heat, with mechanical refrigeration using R-134a refrigerant and a cooling capacity of 0-15 kilowatts at rated flow. Key specifications include an 80-gallon fluid reservoir, variable cooling liquid flow up to 28 GPM at 150 PSI, delivery temperatures of 55°F (±5°F), operation capability from -40°F to -60°F storage conditions, minimum 8-hour runtime at full load, and dual power capability (440-480V/60Hz at 120 Amps or 380V/50Hz at 152 Amps). The units must comply with MIL-STD-46, SAE AS8090, MIL-STD-1791C, MIL-STD-209K, NFPA 70 National Electric Code Class I Division 2, ATEX Zone 2, and Tier 3/Stage 3A emission standards. The RFI requests company information, NAICS 336413 classification, small business qualifications, delivery timeframes, rough pricing estimates, specification clarifications, and feedback regarding the acquisition.
