About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Army Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC) and the U.S. Air Force 59th Medical Wing, Science and Technology Office. The RFI seeks information from industry on blood warming devices for a research study comparing the impact of transfusing cold stored whole blood with and without the use of a blood warming device on thermoregulation in large swine. The main objectives are to characterize the impact of transfusing cold stored whole blood on thermoregulation and to identify the most effective blood warming device for out-of-hospital field use. The NAICS code for this potential action is 541714 - Research and Development in Biotechnology. Interested parties are requested to submit their capability statements by 12:00 pm Eastern on April 12, 2024 via email. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information provided in the responses.
