About this file
This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for the renovation and modernization of an emergency room at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, New York. The amendment clarifies the scope of work for an add alternate involving exterior canopy renovation. Specifically, the existing exterior canopy will be renovated rather than extended as originally proposed. Additionally, the new emergency room entrance canopy is to remain in place, and the add alternate work includes replacing the existing ceiling grid system and lighting at this entrance to match the materials specified for the exterior canopy renovation. The bid due date is confirmed as August 10, 2022 at 2PM, and bids must be delivered in person to the specified location. Contractors must use the updated bid sheet provided in the amendment and failure to do so will result in a bid being deemed non-responsive. The work is to be completed within a specified timeframe and pricing information is required for both the base scope and identified add alternate.
