Statement of Work Refurbishment of 30 Ton Mobile Boat Hoist for IPD Cape May

IOD-C

1. GENERAL

1.1 Background

The Coast Guard has refurbished a Mobile Boat Hoist (MBH) located at the Industrial Production Facility Miami, FL. The MBH is a Kleeco 30 Ton, model number SP600H, with serial number 6282991818 years old, so refurbishment vice replacement would be fiscally prudent. Kleeco brand MBH is no longer an operational company and the Coast Guard has several of these MBH’s that cannot be replaced at the same time. The Coast Guard has determined that multiple components must be replaced to ensure the MBH is fully operational.

Industrial Production Detachment (IPD) Cape May's MBH was decertified after inspection as per recommendation of National Crane, INC. The primary factors leading to decertification were extensive rust and metal loss on several key components and framing.

1.2 Scope

The vendor shall, disassemble various worn out/broken or excessively rusted parts, procure and install the new components per industry standards. The following list of required repairs/component replacement shall be accomplished by the vendor at due diligence to complete the entire repair within 6 months:
