Amendment #2

1) Proposal Due Date Extended To accommodate the complexity of this program, and to allow for the addition of a pre-proposal conference, the due date for receipt of proposals has been extended from July 16th, to August 23rd, 2007.

2) Pre-Proposal Conference A pre-proposal conference to discuss the Long Term Bridge Performance Program and the Solicitation will be held in Crystal City, Virginia. The date and time for the conference is July 26th, at 9:00am. PRE-REGISTRATION for this conference IS REQUIRED. The specific location of the conference will be announced to all those who have pre-registered. To pre-register, send an email to the Contract Specialist at robin.hobbs@dot.gov on or before July 12th and include the following information:

• Name and title of each attendee

• Company name or organizational affiliation for each attendee

• Company or organization address

• Phone and email contact information for each attendee

The above list will NOT be distributed to conference participants. It is for Federal Highway Administration use only.

3) Solicitation Questions Potential offerors are invited to submit questions regarding the solicitation. Questions received by the July 12th pre-registration deadline will be answered at the conference.

Although there will be an opportunity to ask additional questions at the conference, not all will be able to be answered at the conference. For proposal questions received by the July 12th deadline, the anonymity of the questioner will be preserved.
