About this file
This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Florida Governor's Mansion Renovations project (RFQ-REDM2324-04). The Department is seeking qualifications from design firms to provide architectural and engineering services for the renovation of the Florida Governor's Mansion. The solicitation includes responses to questions submitted by potential respondents, which clarify that the project is seeking A/E services, not construction management services. A previous building assessment has been performed and will be made available to shortlisted firms. Respondents are not required to provide a hazardous materials consultant, but should include any other consultants needed to fulfill the project requirements. The project has a stated budget, but the Department acknowledges that a full renovation may exceed that amount, and phasing may be required. Respondents are instructed to provide a specific number of relevant project examples as noted in the solicitation, with no page limit specified.
The solicitation is being issued by the State of Florida for the renovation of the Florida Governor's Mansion, located in Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. There is no indication of any set-aside requirements or the involvement of any incumbent contractors. The funding source and amounts are not specified in the provided information.
