SENIOR SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL MANAGER (SSTM) EVENT LIGHTING
STATEMENT OF WORK
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), is hosting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Senior Scientific Technical Manager (SSTM) symposium event on the Nauticus and USS Battleship Wisconsin, located at One Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA on 29 April 2024, from 1730 to 2300. This procurement is to secure lighting services to provide adequate lighting to illuminate the gangway to the end of the fantail of the USS Wisconsin and various other occupied areas.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications;
2.2 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations;
2.3 Department of Energy (DOE) Regulations;
2.4 State and Local Regulations and
2.5 Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall provide lighting that begins at the gangway that leads guests to the end of the fantail of the USS Battleship Wisconsin.
3.2 The Contractor shall provide lighting that illuminates the fantail, decking area, cannon and restrooms to ensure clear visibility for guests.
3.3 The Contractor shall provide lighting consisting of the following:
3.3.1 String bulbs across for the fantail
3.3.2 Uplighting on the fantail
3.3.3 Uplighting on the cannon
3.3.4 Uplighting at the restroom area
3.4 The Contractor shall participate in a site-visit in order to get the quantity of lights required as noted above.
3.5 The Contractor shall set up and have the lights in working order before the start of the event at 1750 on 29 April 2024 with teardown after the event scheduled to end at 2300.
3.6 The Contractor shall have an onsite technician during the event to ensure power is distributed correctly to avoid any power outages or loss of lighting.
3.7 The Contractor shall review the work to ensure proper lighting for guests and add additional lighting, if needed.
3.8 The Contractor shall ensure all lighting provided is installed in accordance with OEM specifications and OSHA, DOE, State and Local regulations and CDC guidelines.
3.9 The Contractor shall coordinate with the point of contact (POC) identified below to complete this effort.
4.0 TRAVEL
The Contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: One (1) day of travel to the Nauticus and USS Battleship Wisconsin, located at One Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA.
