The requirement consists of seven line items totaling a quantity of one each: a COTS infrared camera (Model 29448-296 X6996HS SLS, priced equivalently to COTS X6981HS) with broadband spectral response covering MWIR to 12µm LWIR; a Special Engineering Request to remove the cold filter; an Andover 3.30LLP-25 long pass filter; an X-Series filter wheel blank filter holder; a 50mm LWIR lens (f/2.5); a 200mm LWIR lens (f/2.5); and a Research Studio Professional 2026 perpetual license with USB dongle. The camera specifications include a 640x512 pixel SLS detector with 25µm pixel pitch, 14-bit dynamic range, ≥98% operability, 40mK NEdT, frame rates from 0.0015Hz to 1004Hz, 4-position filter wheel, closed-cycle cryocooler with <7-minute cooldown, 64GB volatile RAM, removable NVMe SSD, GigE/USB/RS-232/Camera Link/CXP control interfaces, 10Gigabit Ethernet and CoaXPress 2.1 data output, IRIG-B time-tagging capability with <±50µs latency, multiple focus options (17-200mm), and operational range of -20°C to +50°C. The software must support multi-camera connectivity, radiometric data analysis with multiple measurement tools (spots, rectangles, circles, polygons, line profiles, isotherms), temporal plotting, burst and continuous recording, multiple IR image format compatibility (.ats, .img, .seq, .ptw, .sfimg, .sfmov, radiometric jpeg), export capabilities (CSV, PNG, JPEG, TIFF), automatic gain control, camera command/control for FLIR A/X/RS-series cameras, customizable workspaces, ROI-triggered recording, serial port triggering, SDK availability, and compatibility with free player software for data analysis. The contracting officer is Alex Cheatham, with document certification dated 8/5/2026.
