About this file

This document is a Justification and Approval (J&A) for a sole source contract award under FAR 6.302-1. The J&A describes the efforts made to solicit offers from as many offerors as practicable, including posting a sources sought notice and a pre-solicitation synopsis on SAM.gov, which resulted in only one response from Pacific Power Source, Inc. The Contracting Officer has determined the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable. Due to the lack of competition, NAWC-WD China Lake, CA has no plans at this time to compete future contracts for the power conditioners, but will assess whether competition is feasible if another potential source emerges. The associated federal contract opportunity is for the award of contract N6893624P0400 to an unknown vendor for an unknown amount on 2024-09-10.
