About this file

This document is a justification and approval for other than full and open competition for security guard services at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks to award a sole source contract to Guard Force Inc. for six months of security guard services at the San Francisco VA campus locations including building entrances, nursing home, COVID-19 testing site, and canteen store. The contract value is estimated at $770,595 and was awarded to Guard Force Inc. on April 13, 2021 due to their status as a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business and the urgent need for continued security services during the COVID-19 pandemic to avoid any lapse in critical operations. Guard Force Inc. was the only respondent to the sources sought notice and was determined to be a responsible contractor offering fair and reasonable pricing based on previous contracts.
