About this file

This Limited-Sources Justification document is for a sole source, firm-fixed price task order for Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS) Infusion Therapy Manager (ITM) software licenses and support for the Charles George VA Health Care System in Asheville, NC. The 12-month base contract includes four potential 12-month option periods, awarded under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule. The DSS ITM is a web-enabled, commercial off-the-shelf chemotherapy management software that supports infusion management and ordering, standardizes treatment protocols, and reduces medication administration costs. The VA determined through market research that DSS ITM is the only comprehensive oncology software that can meet all VA requirements, fully integrate with VistA, and provide interfaces across multiple VA departments, making alternative solutions prohibitively expensive and operationally disruptive to implement.
