Categories of hazardous waste materials include, but are not limited to: explosives, flammables, oxidizers, poisons, irritants, and corrosives. The Contractor must repair or replace equipment within twenty-four (24) hours any container that was supplied by the Contractor and was in use on State of Minnesota property.
State shall not overload, move or alter the equipment or allow a third party to do so, and shall use it only for its intended purpose. State shall provide safe and unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled collection day. Any damage caused by the Contractor’s negligence to the State’s property or to equipment furnished by Contractor, normal wear and tear excepted, while in the care, custody, and control of the State, including, but not limited to, trees, shrubs, lights, islands, water hydrants, containers, compactors, container equipment, compactor, curbs, containers, fencing, etc., shall be repaired and/or replaced in full by the Contract Vendor to the satisfaction of the State.

If a facility reports missed collection services more than two (2) times in any consecutive two (2) month period the State agency will work with the Contractor to determine an appropriate resolution to that situation. In the event the contractor believes any complaint to be without merit, the Contractor must notify the State agency within five (5) calendar days.
