Reconyx Sole Source Letter_2-11-25.pdf

This is a sole source manufacturer verification letter from Reconyx, Inc., dated February 10, 2025, confirming the company's exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights for specialized professional camera equipment. Reconyx, headquartered in Holmen, Wisconsin, certifies that it is the sole source provider for five specific camera models: the HP2X(C) HyperFire2 Professional Covert IR Camera, HP4W HyperFire 4K Professional White Flash Camera, HP4K HyperFire 4K Professional Covert IR Camera, HP4KSM HyperFire 4K Small Mammal Covert IR Camera, and HP4WSM HyperFire 4K Small Mammal White Flash Camera. The letter additionally confirms that all custom camera options, including custom focus configurations, are exclusively available through direct procurement from Reconyx.

The letter serves as formal documentation supporting a sole source procurement determination and does not specify pricing, contract terms, or delivery schedules. As a manufacturer's declaration of exclusivity, it establishes the legal and technical basis for justifying non-competitive procurement procedures with Reconyx as the designated vendor. This type of documentation is typically required by government agencies conducting sole source acquisitions to substantiate why competitive bidding cannot be pursued for these specialized imaging products.
