About this file
This document is an Evaluation Criteria and Rating Scale for a Request for Proposal (RFP #2024-RFP-076) issued by the City of New Haven for Student Parenting & Family Services. The RFP seeks to select a vendor to provide services to New Haven Public Schools, with the evaluation process focusing on assessing potential vendors across six key criteria including demonstrated ability to meet project requirements, prior experience with similar services, staffing structure, business longevity, service sustainability, and overall cost.
The evaluation process employs a structured rating scale using numerical values of 10, 8, 5, 2, and 0, with specific guidelines for scoring each criterion. Ratings range from a perfect 10 (fully addressing all aspects of the criterion with no weaknesses) to 0 (indicating a strong likelihood of failing to meet the City's requirements. The committee will independently review vendor responses, considering factors such as references, service quality, experience with comparable municipalities, and the comprehensiveness of the proposed service delivery approach. The goal is to select a vendor that can most effectively provide student parenting and family services to the New Haven Public Schools.
