Our most recent project that is a similar size and scope to this project, was at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower. We removed the existing slab, reworked the landscaping and irrigation, and repoured a new slab.
Please see project resume, attached. Project value was approximately $88,000.
We are also currently in the process of conducting a massive landscaping and irrigation project, in conjunction with a structural publics work project at Mesa Gateway Airport. There is substantial grading, landscaping, and irrigation with a contract value of approximately $916,000.
We partner with the best subcontractors in the industry that are experts in their field.
Their experience combined with our project management expertise, allows us to deliver a price and product to the customer that is unmatched. Our partner in this project, Agave Environmental Contracting Inc., has decades of experience in landscaping across the Southwest USA. We have partnered with them on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to upwards of a million dollars. They have run irrigation across simple, existing grade parks, to complex systems underground high traffic roadways with intricate design requirements and specifications.
Our superintendent as well as professionals that we can bring onsite for site solutions, have decades of heavy equipment operating experience. They possess all required licensing and certifications, through local, state, or federal means, and are able to work and operate equipment as required. The only heavy equipment we will be using for this project is in the form of a 5k lift to remove boulders from the area near section B / basement.
The contract states that the ICA will be providing temporary site fencing for keeping the project and the public separate from the construction operations (Scope of Work, Sect. 5)
We will remove all keys from equipment at the conclusion of work days and ensure that any hazardous items are removed from site or locked up in a safe manner that renders them unable to be utilized by outside parties. If any open trenching exists outside the fence line, we will ensure that they are covered with steel trench plates if deep enough to become a hazard, when not actively apart of the construction operations.
All trees and bushes will be removed with proper PPE and ensuring that they are removed in a manner that is mindful of the surrounding vegetation and site. Removing the boulders and benches can and will be done with the use of a 5K lift and proper hoisting equipment, along with spotters and other workers, to ensure they are secured properly and hoisted out of the basement area in a safe and effecient manner.
To ensure safe and effective operations, we will have safety meetings prior to the evolution and discuss the process prior to commencement. We will use hand signals and ensure proper visibility is had prior to work. We will clear the area for any hazards before the operations begin and ensure the public is protected and OSHA policies are in place.
Safety is paramount in any operation on site, and we ensure extra care is taken when hoisting is required.
