About this file
This is a project description document for the Raleigh Police Evidence Storage Facility, a capital construction project undertaken by the City of Raleigh, North Carolina. The project consists of two primary structures: approximately 24,000 square feet of CMU and steel construction designed to house evidence storage with finished interior spaces and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; and approximately 26,000 square feet of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) designated for auto storage. Site work includes excavation, utility infrastructure installation, a septic system, and geothermal wells to support the facilities. The project scope encompasses site development and all necessary systems to create a fully operational evidence and vehicle storage complex.
No specific response dates, bid due dates, site visit schedules, bidders' conferences, award dates, or contract term information is provided in this project overview document. Similarly, the document contains no pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, funding sources, or budget amounts. This appears to be a preliminary project description intended to introduce the scope of work rather than a formal solicitation document with complete bidding instructions and terms.
