About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Lane County Sheriff's Office in Oregon for an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) system capable of providing backup power to emergency communication radios at a dispatch center. The county is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for a Lithium-based UPS system with specific technical requirements, including a minimum of 20kW total combined surge capacity, 2.4kW total combined constant load for 12 hours, and 28.8kWh total storage for constant load. The RFQ provides details on the power configurations required, as well as the need for remote monitoring and alarming capabilities. Quotes must be submitted by September 7, 2022, at 5:00 pm local time.

The RFQ indicates that the county reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, negotiate with vendors, and issue subsequent requests for quotes if desired. Vendors are required to provide information about their organization, experience supplying Lithium-based UPS systems, and proposed pricing for a 6-month period. The county will evaluate the quotes and select the vendor(s) whose quote is determined to be the most advantageous, considering both cost and qualifications.
