1. Can a university or other educational institution apply to this funding opportunity?
· No, this funding opportunity is restricted to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) only.
2. Clarification on the Activity Map:
· The Activity Map DOES NOT count towards the 15-page limit. Instead, please include the Activity Map as an appendix, similar to the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, or the Project Risk Analysis.
· The proposal narrative must include the following:
1. Cover page
2. Table of contents
3. Executive summary
4. Technical narrative: provide the specifics of the project, including the goals, objectives, and all the details of the activities
5. Timeline
6. Sustainability
· Every application must include a technical narrative. In this section, the applicant must detail all of the proposed activities, including answers to the questions: who, what, where, when, why, and how. The technical narrative should be written in complete sentences and provide the grant evaluation panel with all the information necessary to understand the proposed program. Information that is included in the Activity Map, Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, or any other attachment, but not in the technical narrative, may not be fully considered by the grant review panel.
