About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document from the Department of Revenue (DOR) for RFQ S-15000-00011119 regarding lobby partition reconfiguration. The document addresses technical specifications and clarifications for the project, including dimensions of existing fixtures and hardware compatibility. Key measurements provided include current lights below the camera measuring 3 inches, a 4-inch distance from the bottom of the strip to the bottom of cameras, and the Payment Center sign positioned at a height of 13 feet, 2 7/8 inches from the ground. Respondents inquired about reusing existing hardware for new glass partitions, to which the agency confirmed affirmative approval. The document also clarifies that the existing glass likely contains predrilled holes for hardware rather than notches, though the agency expressed some uncertainty regarding the exact configuration.
The Questions and Answers document provides essential technical guidance for vendors preparing proposals for the glass partition reconfiguration project. These clarifications enable bidders to develop accurate cost estimates and design solutions based on confirmed site conditions and hardware specifications. The information facilitates streamlined responses by addressing common vendor questions prior to formal quote submission, thereby supporting a more efficient procurement process.
