Questions and Answers for Response to Victims of Trafficking in Persons

OFOP0001363

Date: June 20, 2024

Question 1:

For Activity 1.1, will the grantee provide all training in San Salvador, or will we be expected to go to other locations in El Salvador?

INL Response:

It is expected for the grantee to provide training at different locations nationwide.

Question 2:

The NOFO for Guatemala had prioritized Departments. Does this cooperative agreement for El Salvador have prioritized Departments or Districts, or should training cover all of El Salvador?

INL Response:

The training should cover all of El Salvador, however there can be greater focus on border zones.

Question 3:

For Activity 1.2 and Deliverable 1.2, mention ten months and then one year. To be sure, is the idea that the protocols will be completed within ten months and then the socialization workshops within the last two months of that year?

INL Response:

Yes, it is desirable to complete both the review/update/creation of contents of current protocols and guidelines of the institutions and the socialization workshops within the 10-month period contemplated in Activity 1.2.

Question 4:

For Activity 1.2, update to the protocols and guidelines of GOES institutions providing shelter services to TIP victims, can Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) be included, as they work integrally with the GOES on this service?

INL Response:

Yes, they can be included.

Question 5:

Is it likely that the grantee organization will be able to use spaces at ILEA San Salvador for the various trainings in this grant? This would free up budget space for other line items. If so, what is the max capacity of a large room there?

INL Response:

ILEA is a limited option as they have a very tight schedule for events. Additionally, all services provided do have a cost so it would not significantly free up space for other lines. Please note the coordination for availability, quotes, capacity, etc. must be made by the selected organization.
