About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative for Audit Services. The RFP is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide audit services relating to Mass Tech's financial statements and internal controls. The questions cover topics such as the most recent audit fees, segregation of audit fees by financial statement audits and A-133 audits, inclusion of the cost proposal in the technical proposal, required proposal delivery information, and the provision of financial statements and the schedule of expenditures of federal awards. Responses to these questions provide clarification on the RFP requirements.
The RFP indicates that the current audit fees were $102,360 in FY2014, comprised of $78,080 for the annual financial statement audit and $24,280 for A-133 audits of three federal grants. Mass Tech Collaborative expects to have two remaining federal grants that will require audit during FY2015, but does not currently have any new federal grants awarded for 2015. The audit firm is expected to provide an updated audit report template, and Mass Tech Collaborative will input the financial statements and footnote data. No separate management letter was issued for the FY2014 audit, and no audit entries were made by the audit firm.
