About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for Solicitation #2031ZA25Q00223_A for Fall Arrest Training, Certification Maintenance and Repair Services. The solicitation involves fall protection systems located on the roofs of main and annex buildings, utilizing Rigid Anchor systems. The Q&A provides clarifications about system access, location, and equipment details, including that engineered drawings will be available to the prospective awardee.
For Item No. 0004, the government has established a Not to Exceed Amount for potential repairs during the contract's performance period. Contractors are instructed to leave this line blank on the Request for Quote (RFQ), with the understanding that if emergency repairs are needed, the contractor will submit a quote to the Contracting Officer for approval and subsequent invoicing against this line item. The systems can be accessed simultaneously during annual inspections, subject to contractor and personnel availability.

(2031ZA25Q00223)
QUESTION AND ANSWERS
1. Will we be able to access all systems at the same time for the annual inspection?
Yes. The systems can be accessed at the same time depending on the contractors/availability of personnel.
2. Are all systems on the roof?
Our systems are on the roofs of the main and annex buildings. There will be an initial introduction to the various locations and access points to the systems.
3. If on the roof, are the systems using a Constant Force Post, or Rigid Anchor?
Our system is a Rigid Anchor. See attachment “Latchways Components” for additional details.
4. Do you have any engineered drawings for the systems we will be able to review?
Yes. Engineered drawings will be available to the prospective awardee.
5. For Item No. 0004 – shall we leave this blank on the RFQ? I read that we have 30 days to quote if any repairs will be required.
Yes. Please leave this line blank. This line item is for the government to set aside a Not to Exceed Amount for possible repairs needed within the Period of Performance. If emergency repairs are needed, the contractor will be asked to provide a quote to the Contracting Officer for approval which will be invoiced against this line item.
