Amendment # 1 Questions and Answers for 00871
1. Q: Section 1.2 of the General Information segment of the RFP provides the current Mission
Statement and Strategies of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. When were the Mission and Strategies developed (i.e., in which academic year or years)? What was the intended period to which these applied; that is, the intended academic or calendar years?
A: The existing mission text was developed in 2022. At the time that document was created there was no specified lifespan for the mission, but our unit has typically used a guiding document for 3-5 years, so our expectation at that time would have been for it to be active through 2025 or 2026
2. Q: Has the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research conducted any assessment of its progress on these strategies since their creation? If so, is this assessment available to vendors to review while preparing responses to the RFP? How can we access it?
A: We have not completed a formal assessment of progress on the broad strategies listed at that time.
3. Q: Is there an intended budget range for this engagement?
A: The budget range for this engagement is $60,000-$120,000
4. Q: Can you confirm if the total cost proposal should include both professional fees as well as expenses (travel, etc.)?
A: Yes, pricing must include all costs for the project, including expenses.
