About this file
This is an Addendum #1 containing questions and answers for IFB #24C013001 from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) regarding Smart Start Application Development. The proposal submission deadline is December 2, 2024, at 11:00 am PST. The project involves updating an existing application, with CHP providing the necessary graphics and hosting infrastructure. The scope includes updates, bug fixes, and compliance adjustments as outlined in Exhibit A, Scope of Work, with no additional features beyond those listed requirements.
The incumbent contractor for this opportunity was Expanded Apps, Inc. The contract is being rebid as part of a regular one-year renewal cycle, not due to performance issues. CHP will provide the source code through a Google Drive link and will handle the hosting infrastructure as this is an existing application. The agency will provide all necessary graphics and mockups, with no requirement for the contractor to design additional assets. The contract appears to be structured as a one-year term, though specific pricing terms are not detailed in this addendum.
