About this file

This is an Addendum Number 1 Questions and Answers document from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) for IFB Number 24C013001 regarding Smart Start Application Development. The solicitation involves updating an existing mobile application, with proposal submissions due on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00am PST. The scope includes updates, bug fixes, and compliance adjustments to the existing application, with CHP providing all necessary graphics and hosting infrastructure. The contract term is set for one year.

The incumbent contractor for this project was Expanded Apps, Inc., though their intention to bid on this new contract cannot be confirmed. The project does not require contractors to provide hosting services or design additional assets, as CHP will handle the hosting and provide all necessary graphics. Source code and documentation are available via a provided Google Drive link. The rebid is occurring as part of the regular one-year contract renewal cycle, not due to performance issues with the current solution.
