About this file

This is a question addendum for Dunn County, Wisconsin's Invitation for Bids (IFB #2019-09) regarding waste hauling services for the county's area transfer stations. The contract covers municipal solid waste and recyclables hauling services with an initial term of five years plus five additional one-year extension options. The Dunn County Transfer Station and Recycling Center operates modified business hours that were updated after the initial IFB release, with inbound commercial hauling available Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday extended to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Outbound commercial hauling of municipal solid waste operates Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Wednesday extended to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The county requires that all trailers utilized for municipal solid waste hauling be removed from the transfer station pit area at the end of each business day regardless of fill status, though the county is willing to complete this function if the bidder provides the means to move the trailer.

Proposers are required to submit pricing using both a per-switch rate and a per-ton rate structure in the compensation table. The addendum clarifies that a line item for the Disposal Facility Tipping Fee, excluding additional fees, should be included in Form B's Compensation Table, Part 3, as this line was erroneously omitted from the original IFB document.
