About this file
This document is a supplement to a federal solicitation for qualification requirements for an aircraft landing light national stock number. It specifies that qualification requirements were established prior to October 19, 1984 and are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of the part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original design company or manufacturers that have completed similar testing can be considered approved sources. The related federal contract opportunity is for T-38 light landing aircraft with national stock number 6220-00-884-8743RK and part number 2-60906-5 or alternate part number G9945B5-4557 through the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation.
