About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) response related to Request for Proposal (RFP) #2024-07-22 issued by the Northshore School District No. 417 for Behavior Specialist services. The District is seeking experienced and qualified behavior specialists to support the behavior needs of special education students and other identified students. The District intends to execute multiple one-year contracts with up to four additional one-year extension options. The RFP covers jurisdictions in King, Snohomish, and other surrounding counties in Washington state.
The Q&A response provides clarification on several aspects of the RFP, including that it is a rebid of an existing contract, the estimated annual spending value of $2-$2.5 million, and that the District's goal is to create a roster of the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidders. The response also addresses questions related to transportation requirements, license types, and the consideration of virtual services (which is not allowed). Pricing may be increased annually at the time of contract extension, subject to market review and justification.
