About this file
This document contains information about a Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for hosting the 2019 Impaired Driving Conference in Suffolk County and Boston City. The RFR seeks proposals from vendors to provide meeting facilities and related services within a hotel. Proposals must be submitted through the state's Commbuys procurement system, and the Commonwealth has no flexibility on the conference dates. The RFR outlines the evaluation criteria, which focus on the strength and completeness of the proposal, the suitability of the facilities and services offered, and the bid's ability to provide the "Best Value" to the Commonwealth.
The RFR does not seek to procure any food or beverages, other than water, and does not require the services of logistics/event companies. Bidders must submit responses that meet all the submission requirements, and only proposals that meet these requirements will be evaluated, scored, and ranked by the review team. The RFR also provides clarification on the error in the initial Evaluation Criteria related to procurement and shipping of car seats.
