About this file
This document is a Q&A for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Contract Management Unit for the Western NY Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSOO) to provide psychiatric services at facilities in Cattaraugus and Erie Counties. The IFB seeks qualified psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide on-site psychiatric care and consultative services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The services will be procured through a competitive bidding process, and the contract term is from 2024-2029. Bids are due on February 22, 2024 by 2:00 PM, and the bid opening will be held via WebEx, not in person.
The IFB does not provide details on the current vendor or pricing, as this is a new procurement to add additional services beyond what is currently being provided. OPWDD is seeking the lowest proposed hourly rate from responsive and responsible bidders. There are no set-aside requirements, subcontracting goals, or prevailing wage obligations for this contract. Multiple contracts may be awarded, with a total of 40 hours per week available for coverage.
