About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation by the Military Sealift Command for a BRM Simulator Systems Lease, Training, and Technical Support contract. The solicitation requires the lease of six standalone simulator systems, each consisting of one instructor workstation and one to two student workstations. The systems must support eight existing training scenarios focused on UNREP exercises and harbor approaches complicated by events. Additional geographic databases for the Columbia River Bar to the Vigor Shipyard area are also required. The incumbent contractor provides a version of ECDIS N software that is now outdated, so the solicitation requires the most up-to-date version available. The performance period is from date of award through 31 July 2029 with an option to extend an additional six months through 31 July 2029. The contractor must respond to technical support requests within 18 hours and may have no more than one simulator system down at any given time.
