About this file

This document is a solicitation for the State of Massachusetts to procure Spectrum 2000 precision humidity and temperature data loggers for a period of up to three years with the option for one renewal. The Department of Facility Maintenance and Repair is seeking 12 data loggers to monitor humidity-sensitive products and processes. The solicitation is an open and competitive procurement with responses due on March 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM. The contract will be awarded to the best value vendor, and the Department intends to evaluate responses from and award to a small business participating in the Commonwealth's Small Business Purchasing Program (SBPP) if possible. If no SBPP-participating vendor provides a responsive bid, the Department will evaluate and award to a non-SBPP business.

Pricing terms are not specified. This is a small procurement, and the Department has stated it will only evaluate responses from and award to SBPP-participating businesses if possible. The Department will perform maintenance service on 15 data loggers every six months. The contract will be awarded based on best value criteria designed to determine the best value to the Commonwealth.
