Bid BD-24-1401-ECSD1-ECSD1-91244 Question and Answers
1. Just to confirm there are two (2) rooms that will be padded. One has the steel on the walls and the other has the FRP paneling on it. Both will stay on under the padding A. Yes those are the two rooms we would like Padded, the FRP one and the Steel. As long as their product can be successfully applied over the existing material then yes that is fine.
1. The VCT floor will be staying on and we will install over that (except in the area adjacent to the drains where we will remove that and install to the concrete floor) A. The VCT is fine to stay, again as long as their product can go over it successfully
1. Please verify the substrate of the walls in both of the rooms A. I’ve been told that behind the walls is expanded metal with 5/8 plywood and sheet rock.
1. Will there be any specific “bid forms” that need to be submitted?
A. Any format is accepted
1. Area there any other product information that needs to be submitted.
A. We would like a spec sheet of the product being used if possible.
1. Can you please verify the wage schedule to be used for this job? (I’m assuming the most current Davis-Bacon) A. Prevailing Wage MA- posted in commbuys
1. What will the working hours need to be?
A. Working hours would be 6am to 2 PM but can go later depending on the staffing situation. ( Also, not sure what would work for the infirmary staff, so that could change.)
1. Can the quote/proposal be submitted via email, or will a hard copy be needed?
A. Please email to sshrestha@essexsheriffma.org
