About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a CPR/AED/First Aid Training Request for Proposal #200000002182 issued by EGLE (Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy). The document addresses inquiries from potential bidders regarding the scope of training services requested. One bidder inquired about submitting a COVID response class developed for CVS Pharmacies and delivered via Webex for internal responders and corporate leads, to which EGLE responded that the agency has no particular specifications for COVID training and bidders should submit offerings as part of their proposals. The document does not specify quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidders' meetings, award dates, or contract terms.

The Q&A document clarifies that the agencies will provide AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) for the training, eliminating the need for bidders to supply this equipment. No information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other financial details is included in this Questions and Answers document.

Questions & Answers

Question 1: Within the proposal there was mention of a COVID response class. I created one for CVS Pharmacies and am curious as if it would be what you were looking regarding the training. I am currently providing these classes via Webex for their internal responder and corporate leads. I’m happy to personalize it to your team for delivery.

Answer: EGLE does not have any particular specifics for COVID training. Bidders should submit what they offer as part of their response.

Question 2: The training requires AEDs, would the agency provide these?

Answer: Yes, the agencies will provide AEDs.
