About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 containing Questions and Answers for Informal Competitive #P24-0655 issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) on January 27, 2025. The document provides clarification regarding the specifications for evaporative coolers to be purchased and delivered for the Needles Border Station. The requirements specify 115V/110V freestanding units with wheels for outdoor use, featuring horizontal airflow. The units must be portable, not requiring installation, window mounting, or roof mounting, and will be positioned with employees standing in front of them.
The technical specifications confirm that the units should come with service cord plugs, include spare pumps that normally come with the coolers, and CDFA will consider units with automatic flow shutoff for the 36" evaporative coolers. Bidders are required to include cut sheets for all equipment with their submissions. No installation services are required as this is a purchase and delivery only contract.
