About this file
This document is a Contractor Capability Questionnaire for the Simplified Acquisition for Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract opportunity at Edwards Air Force Base.
The questionnaire requests information about the company, including its NAICS codes, business size status, bonding capability, past performance, and ability to respond to design-build RFPs and provide shop drawings. The government is conducting market research to determine the best acquisition strategy, whether a single-award or multiple-award contract, and is interested in small businesses, including 8(a) firms, to potentially participate. Responses should indicate if the company anticipates being a prime contractor or subcontractor, and provide details on any teaming arrangements. Respondents are asked to submit a letter of interest, capability statement, and answers to the attached questionnaire by May 28, 2024. The government will use this information to develop the acquisition strategy and potential Request for Proposals for the SABER contract, which is expected to be a fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for minor construction, maintenance, and repair projects up to $1 million.
