Performance Work Statement for
Tactical Combat Casualty Care Training Course for Tier III
1.0 Background: The Defense Health Agency (DHA) TCCC curriculum for Combat Medics, Hospital Corpsmen, and Aerospace Medicine Technicians was developed by subject matter experts from across the Department of Defense serving on a work group chartered under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (OASD(HA)). It complies with the DoD requirement for all Service members to receive role based TCCC training and certification in accordance with their skill-level, as outlined in DoD Instruction 1322.24, “Medical Readiness Training,” dated March 16, 2018. Effective immediately, this memorandum establishes Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) policy and training guidance for the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS).

Any other Task Order (TO) will be for 55-person training events, with a maximum of nine, 55-person training events over the 5 ordering periods.
