About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a federal contract opportunity related to optical machinery products.
The PWS outlines the requirement for a non-personal services contract to provide an automated tabletop lens mapping machine that can visually map digital process errors, and a final inspection system for 6 inspectors that identifies lenses as being within ANSI standards with a visual pass or fail signal. The contractor is responsible for installation, setup, and training on both the mapping device and final inspection system. The government will provide equipment and data center support. Key deliverables include delivering, testing, and training on the mapping device and inspection system within 6 months of contract award. Travel expenses for delivery, testing, and training will be reimbursed. All vendor employees must be U.S. citizens and pass a background check for base access. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number N0018925QZ055, is a pre-solicitation for this optical machinery requirement from the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command.
