PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Critical Power and Cooling Support
Part 1
GENERAL INFORMATION
United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) provides telecommunication support to 1200 square miles of South West Arizona. Within USAYPG’s communication infrastructure is a variety of critical power and cooling equipment requiring manufacturer direct service contract support that includes hardware replacement, software updates, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repair. Service contracts are required as the warranty periods have either expired or will be expiring. Service requirements can vary by manufacturer and equipment age. The USAYPG does not have known manufacturer authorized technicians available to service the critical power and cooling equipment. In most cases the closest technical support is three hours away. The risk of not having this service contract in place, could result in a USAYPG wide complete communication failure, effecting the telephones, internet, alarms, and range video.
1. GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to provide managed maintenance support. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.
