Tactical Athlete Human Performance Training & Sustainment Initiative
USS GABRIELLE GIFFORDS (LCS 10)
1.0 PROJECT TITLE
Tactical Athlete Human Performance Training and 12-Month Sustainment Initiative.
2.0 BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES
The USS GABRIELLE GIFFORDS (LCS 10) is a Littoral Combat Ship operating with a minimally manned crew. Due to the high-tempo, high-stress, and physically demanding nature of shipboard operations, every crew-member represents a single point of failure. To optimize operational readiness, decrease musculoskeletal injuries, improve career longevity, and foster shipboard psychological readiness, the Navy requires a comprehensive, science-backed human performance initiative.
The objective of this contract is to acquire a customized, holistic human performance program that integrates three core pillars of readiness; Nutritional Fueling, Physical Conditioning/Injury Prevention and Cognitive/Mental Resilience delivered through an immersive three (3) day on-site training workshop followed by twelve (12) months of digital application-based tracking and continuous access to a multidisciplinary network of credentialed subject matter experts.
3.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, materials, travel, shipping, equipment and digital licensing necessary to design, coordinate and execute a comprehensive human performance initiative for approximately sixty (60) crewmembers of the USS GABRIELLE
GIFFORDS (LCS 10).
The scope is divided into four primary areas:
1. Immersive On-Site Workshop: Customized practical and classroom-based educational sessions led by a mobile training team of credentialed, on-site subject matter experts.
2. Force Readiness Assessment & Results Reporting: Implementation of pre- and post-training readiness assessments, holistic data collection and a results report outlining overall force readiness and custom recommendations.
3. Physical Deliverables: Individual, hardcopy research-backed textbooks and personal action planning notebooks.
4. Integrated Digital Platform: Twelve (12) months of individual member subscriptions to a secure mobile and web-based application providing personalized conditioning plans, assessments and direct access to credentialed coaches.
