The contractor shall conduct field surveys to verify existing conditions and pendent lengths, perform pre- and post-installation pneumatic pressure tests, and submit detailed documentation including pre-installation and post-installation plan sheets with red-line drawings. For the 14 MAFs requiring alarm system service (MAF H01 is excluded), the contractor must calibrate gas detectors, replace eight ampere-hour batteries, test system operability, and update software to current manufacturer versions. The contract specifies a 120-calendar-day period of performance with potential suspension during winter weather when conditions prevent work meeting specifications. The contractor must provide extensive documentation (CDRLs A0001–A0021), including quality control plans, progress schedules, material submittals, test reports, warranty documents, and a comprehensive post-project report. All work must comply with NFPA 13 standards, applicable federal and state regulations, security requirements including Real ID-compliant identification and Entry Authority Lists for MAF access, and operational security protocols. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, cleanup, environmental compliance, hazardous materials coordination, and damage remediation at no additional cost to the Government.
