About this file
This document is a Requirement Statement for stripping and repainting lockers at Minot Air Force Base. The project involves 20 total locker units (9 units that are 2 openings wide by 4 openings high, and 14 units that are 3 openings wide by 4 openings high) that require complete paint removal, including padding, and repainting. The lockers will be painted alternating yellow (RGB 255,255,0) and dark blue (RGB 0,0,153) colors using a rust-resistant, water-based two-part epoxy paint applied through airbrushing. Each standalone locker will be a single color, with multiple coats applied to ensure durability for a minimum of 5 years under commercial use conditions.
The contractor is required to pick up the lockers from Minot AFB, strip and repaint them, and return them within 30 days of pickup. The painting process must include priming and a topcoat, with the final finish being even and free of drips. The attached images show red lockers with protective equipment stored inside, providing visual context for the current state of the lockers before the proposed refinishing work.
