The contractor must uninstall, remove, and load four pieces of industrial equipment: a Dreis and Krump Power Brake (17,000 lbs), Thomas Press Die Cutter (9,150 lbs), RJE Four Bar Slitter (7,000 lbs), and Battioni & Pagani equipment (15,000 lbs), currently located in various warehouse buildings. The scope of work includes disconnecting electrical connections, removing mounting hardware, extracting equipment from warehouse areas, cleaning work areas, providing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including a 30K forklift, and loading all equipment onto designated flatbed trailers staged at an outdoor area.
The contractor is responsible for furnishing all safety equipment, tools, qualified personnel (including a Foreman and Rigger), and materials necessary for completion. The contractor is not responsible for providing the flatbed truck or transport to the final destination; the contract is complete once equipment is loaded. Work timing is based on transport vehicle availability, with the contractor receiving at least 24 hours' notification prior to required service and must be onsite and ready to perform immediately upon notification. DDOO will provide site access, approvals, work area clearance, electrical supply, and progress review. Acceptance occurs when all four equipment pieces are loaded onto flatbed trailers and truck drivers assume responsibility for the load.
