About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a Common Access Card (CAC) Reader Installation project for the United States Air Force at Robins Air Force Base. The primary objective is to install an Automated Access Control System (AACS) utilizing the Johnson Controls CCURE 9000 Security Management System, extending the existing badge system to provide access control in specific buildings. The installation will involve comprehensive hardware and software components, including CAC readers, magnetic locks, exit detectors, power supplies, and network integration, with specific technical requirements for door functionality, security compliance, and system configuration.

Key technical specifications include installing equipment across multiple buildings, ensuring compatibility with existing JCI CCURE 9000 systems, and meeting Operational Security (OPSEC) requirements. The project mandates strict security protocols, including contractor personnel being escorted at all times, wearing visible identification, and complying with Air Force security regulations. The work will be performed Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with provisions for potential alternate work schedules, and includes detailed requirements for door repairs, replacements, network integration, power supply configuration, and life safety code compliance.
