4.1.2. Coupled with the standard checks, comprehensive calibration analysis shall be performed on all Haas machines:

4.1.2.1. Renishaw Ball Bar Test Analysis: Standard PA checks include an annual ball bar calibration. Renishaw ball bar testing generates a comprehensive diagnostic report to provide an overall assessment of machine performance (circularity).

4.1.2.2. Vibration Analysis: A vibration analysis shall be performed on the spindle and tested up to maximum RPM. This data will be collected and analyzed to determine the state of health for spindle bearings, drive motors, drive belts, and overall performance.

4.1.2.3. Drawbar Force Test: A Drawbar Force Test shall show the clamping force of the drawbar and measures how tight the drawbar can hold a tool in the spindle. The test shall detect premature tool wear, damage to the spindle taper, and dropped tools.

4.1.2.4. Geometry Inspection: The Geometry Inspection is performed along each axis and ensures the machine is parallel and square. Inspections shall follow your machine(s) specifications sheet.

4.2. Reactive Service

Reactive service calls shall be made independent of the Performance Assurance (PA) service calls. If reactive service is required while the PA technician is on site, every attempt shall be made to diagnose and fix the problem, provided the service does not impede on the technician’s ability to finish the scheduled PA for the week. If it is determined that the technician shall not be able to perform, the PA, due to reactive service needed, another technician shall be called in to perform the necessary reactive service. The Contractors shall supply a written request to the COR for replacement parts over $50.00 with a copy of the suppliers' invoice. 4.3. Documentation

The Contractor shall prepare and maintain complete maintenance records on all equipment under the contract. The record shall be available for review by the COR during contract performance. The COR will prepare a service report for each service call. This report will include: date, model and serial number of equipment, description of malfunction, tasks performed, and parts replaced, signature of the contractor and signature of the COR after signatures are obtained. A copy of the report shall be provided to the Manufacturing Branch Chief and the COR for record keeping of service after.
