About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for industrial oven service and repair at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas, dated 19 July 2026.
The procurement seeks professional services from a qualified Industrial Oven Service Technician to evaluate, verify functionality, and restore operations of an existing industrial vacuum oven located in Hangar 1124N. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, and equipment to complete the following scope of work: deliver on-site technical support from a qualified technician; conduct thorough physical inspections of oven doors and vacuum system condition and performance; restore baseline oven functionality, specifically heating elements with proper heat distribution and airflow; and collect comprehensive diagnostic data across all oven systems to support a detailed corrective maintenance and repair plan. The PWS title indicates the work involves replacement of parts to fix the air compressor system.
Minimum contractor qualifications require demonstrated experience servicing, repairing, and calibrating industrial heat processing and vacuum oven systems of similar size and complexity, with technicians fully qualified to perform work on commercial and industrial thermal systems. The contractor must deliver a detailed written findings report documenting all inspection findings, baseline system data collected, and specific recommendations for future repairs or component replacements within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe following completion of the on-site technician visit. The document does not specify contract value, performance period, response deadlines, or award date.
