About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of two Barnes Submersible Grinder Pumps and related accessories for the Lake Loramie State Park in Minster, Ohio. The project background indicates an urgent need to replace a failed grinder pump in a lift station near the campsite and nature center, with the requirement to provide a backup pump as well. The detailed specifications list the pump model, size, electrical requirements, and accessory items. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with a completion/delivery date prior to June 2024. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid, and the contract will include veteran-friendly business enterprise and buy Ohio/buy American preferences.

The pricing terms indicate the contract will be awarded based on the low lot total, calculated by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage. Failure to bid on all items may result in the bidder being deemed non-responsive. The invoice submission and payment process is also detailed, with a requirement that all invoices be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services. The contract is only valid for goods and services received through June 30, 2024, and a new purchase order will be required for any work after that date.
